Getting back into a working headspace after a whirlwind month of December hasn’t been easy. Luckily my work involves revisiting beautiful events including this perfect destination wedding I photographed at the beginning of December in Sayulita, Mexico.
Talia has been a good friend of mine for many years, and when I heard she was getting married, I was so excited for her! They were already the perfect little family and were now planning to make it official alongside a great group of close friends and family in a perfect little town in the sun. When she asked me to join as her photographer, I couldn’t have been more thrilled!
After a morning spent getting ready with her closest friends, Talia walked down to the beach for to meet Kelly for their first look… how could you not drop your jaw at this one?!
From here we spent the day cruising around town stopping for photos (and margaritas), which eventually lead us to the other side of the town where we met the rest of the group for the ceremony that evening.
The wedding ceremony was held at Villa Amor just after 5pm that evening on a perfect little space out over the ocean. With pelicans playing and the ocean as a backdrop, they said their vows. It was nothing short of magical!
The rest of the night was spent eating an amazing Mexican feast, toasting the couple and dancing in the sand.
Congratulations to Talia and Kelly (and Koen!)… I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be part of this beautiful week!
